What is
Clinical Support?

Clinical support is provided by our Assistive Technology Consultants with a background in occupational therapy or speech pathology. Our team are experienced in providing information and advice on assistive technology solutions and providing training on our assistive technology products. Our clinical team is available to support your therapy team and help you to use assistive technology to achieve your goals. Note that we do not provide AAC assessments.

Customised training is available in using eye control technologies, augmentative and alternative communication, interactive technologies, positioning and mounting, and all our products. Please contact us for further information.

Explore our clinical support options

Health Professional Support

Our experienced clinical team work alongside primary therapy teams. We can meet with primary therapists in person, over the phone and via telehealth to provide information, advice and training in our assistive technology options. There is no cost to this service.

Individual Joint Appointment

Our clinical team is available to meet with individuals, their families, therapists and support teams to look at assistive technology options for communication, play, learning and computer access. Our experienced team can meet in person or via telehealth to show you our range of assistive technology solutions. There is no cost to this service.

Product Demonstration

Our clinical team is available to meet with organisations and therapy teams in person and remotely via telehealth to discuss Link Assistive’s products and services. There is no cost to this service.

Assistive Technology Training

Our clinical team are highly experienced in the area of assistive technology. Our team can provide general training in the areas of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), alternative access, mounting & positioning and computer control. We can provide custom training to suit your needs. This service incurs a fee.

We regularly develop on-demand webinars and resources to provide training in assessment, trial and use of communication devices, mounts and access.

Expos & Events

Our clinical team regularly attend events, expos and conferences to showcase Link Assistive products. The team also give presentations in the area assistive technology.
